Grandchildren Austin and TrenaWe have really been enjoying having the kids here these past few days!
Trena is everywhere, all at once, and it has been a joy to sit down and play blocks, ponies, dollies, and read books!
And more books.
And even more books.
She is just like her mama who is just like HER mama!

My dear friend and "daughter" Anna stopped by clear from Texas this week!
We got to sit and visit for nearly 2 hours.
Tho we talk on the phone on occasion, and we FB back and forth, I haven't actually seen her face-to-face in a few years.
It was wonderful.
Love you, Anna!
As for me, from here on in, I will be taking a much needed blogging break.
There is a lot going on here that I am not able to share at this time.
Blogging is just one of the things that has to fall by the wayside for a season.
Bear with me...
I hope to be back.
For those of you to whom I am more personal,
(you know who you are...)
I will be in touch....
xoxo,
Cindy
We will be here when you get back!

I hope the new year provides you and your family a time of respite, renewal, and joy. Blessings to you all.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to comment and tell you that I stumbled across your blog and followed the story of your little grandson who passed. I am re-reading all of those posts because we lost our little granddaughter Wed. due to a severe heart defect just a couple of hours after her birth. Your posts have given me comfort and I will share with my dear daughter the beautiful song by Selah. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI know I am not one of the ones known personally, but I will miss you while you are gone. I've been very absent from my blog as well, but will never forget your cheering on my peanut and understanding my worries as we waited and waited.
ReplyDeleteI hope to hear from you again in the future and that all that needs to be resolved will be. Your writing makes my day and I hope to read it again!
Heather
I don't know about tomorrow, but I do know who holds the future....
ReplyDeletePraying that all is well with you and yours. Looking forward to your return to blogland, if it is to be.
God hold you in His tender watchcare.

I too, have gone through major loss. Reading your blog has helped me find a path through the pain. Thank you for being a conduit of peace, love and hope, despite the less pleasant realities live involves. I will miss you and await your return.
I will miss you, Cyn, but I sure understand the need to take a break. We will be here when you get back and I will pray for you whenever your name comes to mind, as it often does.

Praying for you.
ReplyDeleteI just got back online after a nearly 2 month internet break.
I also completely stopped Facebook personally and on my blog. Though I am considering putting it back on my blog. But for now it will remain off. As a believer so many of this ties to the computer are so time consuming.
Next week sometime my blog posts will get transferred over to the new site. Same URL just brand new look and some new features.
Take Care.
Love, Pam
