IT'S TWINS!!!

This mornings egg count was 7, with one being a blue egg, and one a double yolker! These girls have only been laying about 3 weeks, and so far we have had 2 of these!
Count me blessed!!!

hi, yes these eggs are the greatest! when these hens can be free and healthy they really produce the doubles, unlike the chemical filled store eggs! My girls are getting to retire this winter with a new brood starting soon! They are over 2 years old and its like 3-8 eggs every other day, rather than the 16 a day...

Your eggs looks so clean! When I get them from my next door farmer they still have blood and feathers attached. Actually, they do from the store, too....Well, we do know where they come from...
We only have brown eggs, I've never seen a blue one...pretty!

I love getting double yolkers..it has been awhile. I had an older RI Red in Calif who laid one nearly every time! My kids were always facinated with that!
I am hungry now too!

P.S. I love the look of your blog - did you use Blogger's new tools for that??
