Till June....

Trena Constance and her Memere

I had a bit of leftover yarn from Sam's hat, so after seeing the sweetest headband made for Ang's sweet little Amelie by her auntie Victoria, I knew I would make one for Trena.
I actually finished it while they sat and visited so we could get a perfect fit.
Warm and cozy, and perfect for those cold Montana winters.
I think I want one for myself!

The kids were here this evening for final goodbyes.
Their plane leaves early tomorrow and Jon's folks will bring them to the airport.
It's better this way.
They weren't out of the driveway before the tears began.

Till June....
Cause June is when I'll next get to hold my baby girl.
Missin' her already.

xoxo,
Cindy

I am so blessed to have my grand daughters nearby but I'm sure my time is coming when I won't be near all my grandchildren. I dread that day and so my heart goes out to you and I can imagine your heartache. May lots of e-mails filled with pictures of your little one come your way to sustain you until June.

OH, I hate good-byes, too...will be saying mine on Saturday morning...never look forward to the day we leave our daughter and her husband. I know it will be even harder when the baby gets here! I love little Trena's hat, you sure are clever!

That just brings tears to my eyes! I hate goodbyes too. Always loved when my daddy would come to visit and then hated to take him to the airport. June will be here before you know it!

OH! Cyn,
I know exactly how and what you are feeling! It takes me a few days to get myself back to (normal?lol) when my family leaves.
You always inspire me, I can just see you sitting, talking and all the while knitting. One goal for me this year is to crochet.
Blessings today.

Me, too.
I hear you.
I think that those with family all close do not realize how hard it is at times.
*sigh*
Oh well, enjoy the moments when you have them.
Amen?
Happy 2010..
Thanks for the compliment re/the banner.
Last year's January banner...recycled again.

I hate goodbyes too, especially sweet babies because you know they will grow and change so much.

I look forward to getting to know you better in 2010.

Did you know that Goodbye is a contraction of "God Bless Ye". It puts a new perspective on it.
Happy New Years!

BTW, your granddaughter is SO adorable. I love the pic of her and Sam making the same face. I miss my nephew already, too, since I saw him the first time at Thanksgiving. I didn't want to give him back to my sister!! But of course we can look forward to the next long visit, right? =)

So sweet. Oh my. June IS a long ways away. I wish family all stayed close together.

Of course, I have no idea what that would mean after 20 generations. Eventually we'd create ourselves another whole city.

But I'd sure love to try. In the meantime, I love Skype video chats with a webcam. It's a little hiccupy sometimes, but talking almost face to face is wonderful!
