The "collection"...

Bird bath...found at Meijer years ago

Angela, over at Parisienne Farmgirl, is having a collections party and I thought I'd throw my 2 cents worth in the mix!
Having a small farmette ( 1 1/2 acres), I can spread my collection throughout my perennial, vegetable, and herbe gardens.
And I do!

Copper bird bath found at Menard's!

I love how this has "turned" over the years, don't you?

Cement/stone bird bath
Garage sale find long ago

Birdie fountain/birdie bath
Farmboy bought for me

China coated bird bath
Special ordered for me from our daughter, Giselle

I LOVE this one, tho some of the little china pieces have fallen off over the years.
It's so bright and cheery, and it is usually nice and clean!
But...these photos were all taken this morning, and nothing has yet been cleaned up.

Fish fountain/bird bath
Found at our local grocery chain right here in town

I have a few other things I collect, but I wanted to get outside and shoot some photos and pret' near smacked myself when I saw how many of these I actually had!

What are some of YOUR favorite collections?

Head on over to Parisienne Farmgirl's blog and see what she's showin'!

Copper pots!
Even tho a few of hers aren't usable right now, I'd give my eye teeth to see them hanging in MY kitchen just the way they are!

Enjoy!

xoxo,
Cindy

Very nice. I would love to have one in my back yard...but I don't even have a garden yet. So one thing at a time! Would love to walk your grounds with you. Thanks for sharing.

I love all of those! We need a new birdbath once we move into our new place. Had to leave the old one behind. :-(

How lovely! I think it's a wonderful collection and I bet you get a lot of enjoyment out of them, as do the birds!

Hey Cyn,

Thanks for the re-welcome, and I'm glad to see you are back to posting as well. I need to go back and read the first ones you did after your surgery. I missed reading your posts when you were on hiatus.

Birdbaths! Can't wait to hear the influx of birdsong and throw all the windows open all day and night again. My favorite time of the year when I can do that!

Wow, a beautiful collection of bird baths. I have one and have a hard time keeping it clean when the Florida weather really gets HOT. I enjoyed this posting so much. Thank you for visiting Lillie Mae Acres this morning.

I love your birdbaths! My fave is the cement, stone one. I have one that is cement done in faux bois.
I have never seen a bird take a bath in mine but do love to see it in my yard.

Bird baths, I luv 'em too. I have nowhere near your number , but I have a few and they are all used by the birds. I think bird baths are the very best way to fill an awkward outdoor garden space. Bet your bird baths are even lovelier in the spring and summer.

I love your collection! I never thought of collecting bird baths, but I have a couple in my gardens and I love them. At one time I even had a bird mister. Are they work intensive? Do they attract birds? They are all so different and fabulous!

I'm so GLAD I found your site! These birdbaths are smashing. I remember my grandmother having a wonderful one that also had a sun compass in the center.
A pleasure to visit you!
