THIS is what the main veggie garden looked like yesterday at 3:30 PM.
That would be right before my dear neighbor Michelle sent her husband and 7 of her children over to do some serious grunt work for us.

The younger children worked on the smaller of the two beds,
weeding and cleaning out the debri from last year.

Michelle's husband and older children worked on the larger bed, rototilling, then cleaning out all the clumps of weeds.

I'm am certain you will be well on your way to homegrown salads SOON ... of course, bringing Michelle and her family some of your bounty ...
They're such a PRECIOUS family, aren't they? We only met them once and look forward to seeing them again - maybe you and their family can come out to our humble farm sometime??! We would love to meet you too!
Beautiful garden:)
That is SO awesome!
What a WONDERFUL blessing to have such neighbors! Enjoy getting your garden in :)

How precious is that? Now you can bless them with all the goodies that grow in that wonderful garden!!
Nice job.
What wonderful and blessed neighbors to do that for you! It would have taken me several days to do all of that, LOL.
We need more parents like those two who teach their children the ways of the Lord by example as he did for us. What a blessing to have them as friends.

Wow. You must live right. What a blessing to have such giving neighbors.
We are thankful for our neighbor across the street, he loves his 4-wheeler and uses it to plow our driveway. We repay him in baked goods.
Such lovely neighbors! Wish someone would help me out in my yard.
Oh wow, you are so blessed to have such nice Christian neighbors! You're right - they walk the walk! How many problems could we solve in our world today if everyone would walk the walk!!!
Awesome! And it looks great!

Good Morning Cyn,
What an Awesome testimony this family has!!! And your garden is beautiful, so good luck with your planting. It reminds me of when my house has been cleaned, and I just want to decorate it.

OH OH OH! I want to borrow those children!!! What wonderful folks, God bless them mightily!
Can you send them my way....? ;)
Just stopped in to see what you have been up too...hope you can stop by for a visit soon. :)
What a fabulous family!!! As a mother of seven children I desire that my children are just as helpful to others around them.
I'll be watching for pictures as your garden begins to grow.
I'm blessed to have found your blog.

Yaay!! OH...I *love* it that you said it took them 1 hour and would have taken you 7!! How true it is that LOTS can be accomplished by a group of energetic children. AND they LOVE to work...so rewarding to see the "fruit" of their labours so quickly!! How pleased they must have been...and how pleased you must be! ENJOY!!
Blessings,
Camille
Many hand make light work....what a blessing for you! It looks GREAT. I love the stones around it.
What a blessing!!! What a lovely spot to garden in. Love the stone border!
What a wonderful blessing!! They are the hands and feet of Jesus - putting the walk with the talk. The garden spots look lovely!!!
What a great daughter and son in law you have.
Let me know if they ever come to Kentucky.
What an incredible family you have for neighbors! But then I'm guessing they also have incredible neighbors in you and your husband as well, Cindy. Thank you for the special tribute you did to them with this post!
I am totally impressed. You are truly fortunate to have neighbors such as these. I am pretty sure my neighbors are preparing to fire bomb my garden.
