THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank each and every one of you who has been lifting us up in prayer.
I cannot even imagine how others go thru trials in life without knowing Him.

I am trying to go about my "normal" wifey duties....cleaning, cooking, cleaning some more....

And, if no one minds, I will get back to my usual blogging tomorrow.

I have some awesome things to share with you...new recipes, book reviews, etc...

On Sunday we will be having a memorial service for our grandson, Alex.
Mixed feelings there....
We want to celebrate the short time he was here with us, but we know it will be difficult.
How much easier this all is to bear, knowing that one day we will see his little face in heaven.

"For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I am known." 1 Corinthians 13:12

Cindy

You are so gracious and kind, Cyn! I am just thinking about how Alex can do anything in Heaven, and he is not suffering any longer. How sweet that you were able to get to know that little man and hold him forever in your hearts. He knew he was loved...and so are you!

When we all get to heaven.....what a day glorious day that will be!
XOXO

What a blessing to belong to our precious LORD! I think you have been grieving all along Cindy...it is not surprising at all. The LORD will continue to sustain you and give you daily all you need. HE will carry you all through this weekend as well...one day at a time.

As for the "regular" life and the blog...it is not offensive at all...your little Alex is REJOICING!!! And cooking and cleaning and *regular* things are part of this life. Alex is enjoying the ETERNAL now...how precious to think it!!

Get back to the *regular* when you feel ready Cindy, and know that we will be here when you do.

With Love,
Camille

I was out late last night... and missed your post about Alex. ~

The wings of the angels carried him to the dear arms of our Lord. The sweet memories you have of his innocent love will never fade. He will always be the angel in your life.

God bless you all ~ sending you {hugs and love}

I too often wonder how people get through sorrows of this life without God. He is the author of peace, strength, and understanding. Also the wonderful knowledge of being able to see little Alex in Heaven one sweet day.
Prayers and thoughts are continuing for the family. Take your time regaining your thoughts about blogging and returning to everyday activities. You deserve all the time you want.

Cyn,
Our sympathies are with your family. You are right, you'll see Alex again and he'll be healthy and happy. The sorrow here on earth I know is hard to deal with, but you and your family knowing God, certainly has given you a better outlook on all of your pain and loss. HUGS, wish it could be for real!

Blessings and HUGS,
Kelle

I am so sorry for all that you and your family have been going through and what you will struggle with in the future. Stay strong in Him and allow Him to hold you tight in your time of need.
I'm reminded of a touching song by Michael W. Smith called "Noah". If you come across it, have a little listen :)

God is holding you and loving you. Hang on to His Hand as the storm is rolling over you. You will get to the shore again safely. Just keep holding on, my friend.

Hi Cyn~ I just got your note from my blog. Thank you. You know, everytime I get a note from you it's like a flower poking out amidst all the snow. :-)
I am so sorry about your grandson. I read through following his story. You are right though. He is in the loving hands of our Father. The same hands that guide us and hold us along our way.

May the peace of Christ console your heart.

Hugs to you~

Came to your blog through She Looketh Well. I cannot tell you how sorry I am to see the loss of such a sweet baby. I cannot imagine what you must be going through. But, being Christians, we do not grieve as those who have no hope. One day you will see your precious grandson again...in the meantime...he is in the arms of Jesus. Praying for you and your family.
In Him who knows all our sorrows,
Jackie
