Praying...like crazy

 Country driveway

I said I would be back shortly...
I lied.

A lot going on here at our little farmette.
Burdens that need to be lifted...

 Autumn pond

Algae all over the pond this time of year...
Kind of like the gunky way my heart feels at times.....

  Still

Our pastor said this morning when you see insurmountable odds looming in front of you...
it is time to...

PRAY LIKE CRAZY

When you have been praying faithfully for something and have not seen results...

PRAY LIKE CRAZY

When all seems lost...

PRAY LIKE CRAZY

When all around you seem to be on the wide path...
PRAY LIKE CRAZY

I do believe I will/must be taking some time to...
pray like crazy.

Join me this week as I intercede for lost family and friends...

Praying like crazy,
In Christ alone,
Cindy

And let me know if there is someone you'd like me to join you in prayer for...
"For where 2 or 3 are gathered together in My name, there I am in the midst of them..." Mt. 18:20
"...save others, snatching them out of the fire..." Jude 1:23

Oh boy, do I believe in praying like crazy!!! I've seen personal miracles and amazing changes come about because of prayer and faith. Don't give up! Even the algae has its purpose and its own beauty to do good.

I can so relate Cyn, I too have so many people in my life that are on the wide path, family and friends....I have a brother who is a very serious alcholic and his health is deteriorating along with his phyisical appearance (he looks 90 and his color is grey) and his outlook on life, his misuse of the english language.....you get the picture (like the pond, yuck). He is such a mess, only two years older than me, he was such a fun brother when we were kids, I have so many fond memories of him and me together. Now, he can't even work. His wife supports their household and grown kids live at home and pay rent.
Pray like crazy? I have, for years and so has my mother. I know that somehow God "WILL" be glorified through all of this, I know he loves my brother even more than I do I just wish that this glass I see through was not so dark and that I could see where this is going. I want so much to trust my Lord with my brother. His name is Don

Sweetie..I hope I am not too late to join in your prayers. Whatever is needed for you and your family that is so disturbing you..I will would like to be added to those that are gathered in prayer. My family as are many others, are in need of prayers.
Cancer and other health issues, loss of home due to the economy and so many things that need healing and change.
We are certainly not alone..and prayer is often all we have.
My heart and prayers go out to you...

Cyn..I began following you a long time ago..and never get over here. I am ashamed.
I know where you are in your marriage. I was married to Patrick for 43 years..and I cannot even begin to tell you how horrible things got from time to time. I feel helpless.
I've lost Patrick to cancer and can't redo any of it..no going back. I wish I could give you a magic answer, but of course I cannot and you didn't ask for one..just prayer. Just know that if I could, I would fix it!
I am just so sorry you are going throug so much! So sorry. I've been where you are..

Thank you Cyn for this post ~ I needed to hear it today. It seems sometimes I've been praying & praying & gotten no answers. I know the Lord is creating patience in me, but I need the reminder to keep on praying.
Love to you
Renata:)

the command is 'be devoted to prayer' ...

I am hoping your burdens are not weighing you down so much, and you are feeling the comfort of God's strength and love now. Hoping you have hope and confidence in Him no matter what the circumstances are right now.

Cindy- i don't know what you are living with and through. Life can deal us so many options. I have noted that you are quiet in so many ways. I know from my journey of the last 10 years that there are times when silence comes upon us. Time to complete, rejoice, seek, sorrow. A season for all. And when we not know why or where fore we will then find the path. Seek straight and true, follow the north star. Your angels will not guide you wrong.

Hi Cindy, I have been trying to find this post for a few weeks now. I remember seeing it and it really spoke to me and I wanted so to copy it and put into my prayer journal. I even put a post on my blog looking for you, but alas, I have found you! So happy I did.
