Forlorn...

Empty....

It's been cold and very windy here so not much line-dryin' going on...

 Little Soldier Pins

Garden Angel

Starting to look all bare here at the farmette.
The frost has pretty much taken out all the flowers except for one lone calendula plant in a clay pot.
I am thinking I will harvest it this weekend and use the petals for another batch of Calendula soap.

We are making the barest minimal of plans for Thanksgiving.
Our oldest daughter and her family will not be here at all for any of the holidays this season as she is due with her 2nd baby the end of January. This is a huge blessing for us as she has miscarried time and again after her 1st baby, our granddaughter Trena, was born nearly 3 years ago.
We are sad they cannot be with us, but happy because the circumstances are awesome!

Still lots going on here, in spite of the windy cool weather.
I am gearing up for my big soap sale, coming up next week....
I hope!
Still wrapping and labeling, so I will see how much I can get done over the weekend.

In Christ alone,
Cindy

Too bad your daughter and her family won't be with you for the holiday but come January you'll be smiling big.

It's hard to be without family on a holiday....but soon you will have new little one to be thankful for. :) Good luck to your daughter...I had recurrent miscarriages after our first baby was born...it is very difficult.

The weather sure has changed in the past couple of weeks! And our recent gas bill is the proof, LOL! Love your photos, sweetie!

Dear Cindy,

I just found your sweet blog, and have been so blessed by my visit. I lost a baby a couple of years ago, so my heart goes out to your family with the loss of your grandbaby last year.

May you have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Love,

Marqueta

Another blessing! With four beautiful granddaughter's I get it! We will be on our own for Thanksgivings. Settling into a new farm, 42 acres of bliss. But DH has a bad case of the flu after working like an insane man for two weeks.

It will all be well. Funny how God does that for us!
