Creme Fraiche Omelette...Happy 100th birthday, Julia

 Butter!

I saw this recipe eons ago over at my dear friend Angela's blog, Parisienne Farmgirl
and have been making it ever since.

Eggs, farm fresh....2 of 'em, lightly beaten with a fork

 Thyme in a pot...
sits in the kitchen window.

Or you could add any fresh herb you so desire.
Ang recommends chives or rosemary in addition to the thyme I have here.

 Eggs cooked in butter,
sprinkled with fresh herbs,
and topped with homemade creme fraiche
(but you can find it at the store, ready made)

Omelette, fini!

Bon appetit!

Happy 100th birthday, Julia Child!

In Christ alone,
Cindy

  6. Well now. Mr. Boycott what makes you "God's gift to women?" Nationality not a factor. And I don't have 10 cats. Only 5 plus a herd of dairy goats and chickens which I tend alone since my dear husband was recently diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocyte Leukemia.

With that said Hi Cyn. And Bon Appetit Julia!

  8. Ooo, I just found your site thanks to the traffic you are sending me. WOW! Thanks so much. That is such a compliment. :) I am definitely going to have to learn to make that omelet and that creme fraiche. My husband eats eggs every morning. (Do you share how to make it?) Your recipes and photos are amazing. I'm jealous. ;)
