Jesus...take the wheel. Again. Please?

That's me.

Handicapped.

I am not talking about a physical disability.
I am talking about my life.
In general.
Handicapped.

Oh, I start out OK.
First thing in the morning...I am seeking after Him.
Then I either shoot myself in the foot.
Shoot my mouth off.
Cut off my nose to spite my face.
Blind in one eye and can't see out of the other.

And then, once again, I am crying out...
Jesus!
Take the wheel.
I can't do this on my own.
I am letting go.
Give me one more chance.
And save me from this road I'm on....

And then He does.
Again.

Anyone else ever feel like that?

In Christ alone,
Cindy

  1. Yes, almost on a daily basis. I am a sinner saved by God's grace. I'm leaning on His everlasting arms. He carries me, He strengthens me with his strength, He fill me with His peace.

Every day is new, a fresh slate. We call on Him and He hears. He loves us more than we can understand right now, but one day we will fully understand.

  2. Every day. We're all works in progress and the fact that you know to cry out to Him, means that you're on the right track.

    Blessings to you, my friend.

  4. We were born imperfect and will die imperfect. We all struggle mightily! Thanks for the reminder to let Jesus take the wheel so that we stay on the right path!

  6. Yes, ma'am. Feel like that more often than not. But if we didn't have troubles, we wouldn't need Him. It's hard to be thankful for troubled times tho. My heart is with you, friend. Jesus, please take the wheel, the foot pedals AND the keys!
