FIELD OF DREAMS

THIS is our lawn.
ha ha
NO...I'm NOT kidding.
Who can afford to sow grass on over an acre of weed.
So...we act like it is lawn, and mow it like it is lawn, and voila...
it is our lawn.

Kissing Dutch kids under Michael Buchner French Lilac...
Which is exactly where I would choose to kiss if I could stand under this tiny lilac.

My pseudo gate, keeping the hens off my front porch where they do hen-like things...
YOU know what I mean.
It's bad enough I track the stuff in myself, let alone having them dump it all over the porch

And today was just too nice a day NOT to do our sheets and pillowcases and line dry them.
Is there ANYTHING quite like the scent of line dried bed linens?

I can hardly wait to go to bed tonight!

Isn't the Lord good?
And all God's people said....
"AMEN"!!!

well when you live in the country .. .that is what you do. We did that with our field/lawn too. My farmer relaxes by walking the field, dealing with the weeds. . me .. I take little grandbabies out there to take their pictures. Much more fun.
Oh I do love line dried sheets. . enjoy.

Yes AMEN! God is GOOD! We have all kinds of pretty weeds in our "lawn". I don't like musk thistles, the leaves have sharp prickels, very toxic to livestock. The flowers are a pretty purple though.
Love your lilac and sheets on the line. Nothing like that fresh air scent.

Amen sister! One of God's most delicious wonders is the smell of linens dried outside! Now if my silly subdivision would forget its crazy clothesline ban.
I covet your clothesline.
Boo hoo!

All is going good here (still no sign of Efrain:( but soon...katie and her girls recently moved into their own place:) and she loves her new job so they are moving along without him pretty well;) and that makes me happy! Enjoy the sun! xo

Ha ha! Our 'lawn' is just the same. And what is it with hens and porches? I need a gate for my porch to keep them off too!
