AUNTIE EM!, AUNTIE EM!

Geez, Louize it's windy here!
Farmboy managed to get the whole front mowed, but he had to hang onto his hat nearly the whole time!
Our farmette sits right smack between two empty fields, so the wind from the west has nothing to break it.
I have often said our home is like "Little Farm on the Prairie".
That's all right, tho.
No neighbors tellin' us to keep it down when we're throwing one of our wing-ding parties.
(Now THAT'S really funny, as I am usually in my pj's by 7pm, and in bed reading shortly after.)
Yeah.
We're one wild and crazy couple.
NOT.

Cute post! We have been windy here the last few days...not today though. Of course we started out pretty chilly--way below average temps for May (27 degrees yikes) Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Cyn!
We're surrounded by farm fields, no wind break...and BRRRrrr...is it ever cold today...colder tomorrow! Frost/Freeze advisories for tonight...gotta bring all my potted plants into the garage from off the porch. Glad we don't have the whole garden planted! Just some seeds in the ground. I LOVE YOUR PICTURE...is it your birdhouse? LOVE IT!
XOXO

This is so great Cyn! So clever!

The lines from that movie that have truly lasted the test of time... how many decades? 70 years---this year! 1939!
"Auntie Em! Auntie Em!" PERFECT for a gusty day! Windy here too with a temp drop of 30 degrees since yesterday...

I just LOVE your photo today... You need to print that one and frame it!
Thanks for the smiles ~Maria

We live in the river bottom farmland and the big exposed elements. Our orchard is right between corn fields behind us and cotton fields out front. The wind can get pretty strong here and I, too, feel like Dorothy getting blown from Kansas.

LOL! Thought for a moment there I was in Kansas and not Michigan! ( ooops...I AM in Kansas) I'll send ya some winds hon! Love those ruby slippers too! Are they yours or Dorothy's? It's gettin' hot down my way here...almost 90 the next few days! South winds kickin' up and it's NOT fun trying to hang laundry on the clothesline when they blow back in my face! Your garden is lookin' GOOOOOD!

Hysterical! I love your quote from Dorothy to describe a windy day. It was gusty here a couple days ago too!!! Great photo.

I'm the same way, though I'm in my PJ's right after I get home from work at 4:00!!! Yikes. =)
