Grandbaby Trena ConstancePretty much counting the days till our daughter Giselle and her husband Jon and our dearest granddaughter comes for a visit.
July 20, if everything goes as planned.
She LOVES her books!

just waiting to get my hands on her!
We've got Skype, and we've got free minutes on our cell phones, but it's just not the same.
And some good news!
Trena will have a new baby brother or sister by the end of the year!

So wonderful, this grandma thing, isn't it. I mean, when we can get our hands on them. The hard part is when they are so far away or we don't see them much!

Congrats on the new baby coming! We are in full on baby mode at our house and I love seeing cute pictures of toddlers (since I have one too!) and hearing of other upcoming little ones.
I know my mom and dad feel the same way about getting their hands on our little ones. They've got a trip planned for the week of our due date (2 weeks away) and we just hope Baby 2 cooperates and shows up before or during their stay!

I so totally get it...and am so happy and excited for you. June come quickly!!
I haven't seen my boys in a few weeks, since starting work, so Friday night we took one of my little men and he spent the night and we had him all Sat to have fun with. My heart soared. They are such a delight and joy to us aren't they? Oh the blessing of being a grandparent!
