Alex is home now....

Alexander Lee Young
Born:7-26-10
Died: 11-2-10

Alex went home to heaven this morning around 11:30.
Krystal had fed him and lay down with him for a morning nap and when she woke up an hour later, he was gone.

Pete and I are SO thankful for the few weeks we had with Alex.

Poolside for a family gathering, Alex is center stage!

In his Pepere's arms....

This past Friday Pete and I babysat while Krystal went out with Warren and their other sons.
He just stared and stared at Pete, at times almost laughing while his pepere made faces at him!

Our hearts are heavy with grief, tho we know Alex is in a much better place.
Please remember us in prayer over the next few days....

This is the hardest thing we have ever been thru....and we've been thru a lot.

His grace is made perfect in our weakness.

xoxo,
Cindy

When I saw your post title I knew that little Alex was indeed Home. He is no longer bound to this world. My thoughts of him when I looked at his sweet little pictures, was that he had an old soul. He knew more than the rest of us here. He was loved on and prayed for, his whole short life. He touched hearts and souls.

Love, hugs and prayers for you and his mom and dad and whole family at this time.

Shedding tears for a little boy and his family, even though I have never met them and they live on the other side of the world.
I was just reading the beautiful book 'Someday Heaven' yesterday which explains the mysteries of heaven to young children (my 4 year old twins keep asking me if they can go and visit heaven, it just sounds so wonderful to them and they know Jesus is there) and I was thinking of baby Alex and praying for you. As I am right now that our dear Lord will comfort you in this time of sadness and grieving.
I thank God that you know Him personally and know that one day you will meet Alex again and be reunited forever in a place where all tears will be wiped from our eyes. What a glorious hope we have because of Christ - 'Someday Heaven' - our real home.

Cyndi, I don't even know you and in fact, today is the first day I read your blog, as suggested by Joni at the "Old Centennial Farmhouse". I have not started blogging yet, but have been looking around at a few blogs for inspiration as I am a ranchwife and feel like I have a lot to share.

So, having given you a little background on who I am, I just want to tell you that my heart is crying for you and your family. My Mom is a midwife and I come from a background of delivering babies, and Alex's story has really touched my heart. I can't imagine what you are going through, but please know that my prayers are with you every moment. God will see you through - somehow. Remember, he lost his own Son for us - so at least he knows how you feel - even if none of the rest of us can fathom how much it hurts - he can.

Praying...
