6 WEIRD THINGS ABOUT ME

O.K....if the photo isn't weird enough...here are 6 weird things about me..

1. I have to plug my nose to go under water
2. I think I can sing....my family thinks otherwise
3. I forgive easily, as I have usually forgotten who offended me in the first place
4. I am a serious Chapstick addict (12 step program to come this year)
5. I make "random" friends wherever I go. No really...garage sales, grocery stores, garden centers, etc.
6. I call the hens "the girls", and folks think I mean my flesh and blood daughters

See, I think these things are perfectly normal, but my kids insist I am weird. In fact, my son challenged me to find 6 things that AREN'T weird about me!!!

Now, I cheat at this game, and so even tho I was tagged by Wildside, I hate tagging anyone else. So, if your reading this and feel up to a "tag", then "your it!"

Thanks for playing along!

As to chickens laying on the floor -- very sheltered nest boxes (for that private moment) each with a plastic egg in them may help give them the suggestion they need...

Kids think everything is weird about their parents. I can totally relate to the the "never met a stranger" thing...I'm the same way!

Hi, another note! Posted up something just for you today... Do this and people will most definitely think you're weird, but it may solve a problem you're having.

Cyn, those things are not weird at all...just so very endearing!

Hello again! Wildside here as anon.

As to comments left re: faux egg project -- Golf balls work too? Hmm... Too bad I didn't have any on hand! Probably easier to find than the plastic eggs -- not such a seasonal thing.

The wax egg idea seems to be working, but unsure, may be the plastic one doing the trick. Found one egg laid in a nesting box, but still found one on the roosting coop floor early this AM -- think she might lay it while still roosting -- the two eggs were warm and just after I left the girls out.

Kiwi says privacy curtains not a bad idea either...

You my friend have not a weird bone in your body...well....mmmmm... I was going to say that it's weird to post a blog about an afternoon pick me up that features champagne, but then I rethought the thought and it's not weird.
